REFUND POLICY

DISCLAIMER

Yanza Media retains full creative control over editing style, pacing, shot selection, music selection, and overall artistic direction within the scope of each project. Video production is a creative service and results will vary based on the nature of the footage captured, conditions on shoot day, and the subject matter involved.

Yanza Media does not guarantee specific results, engagement numbers, follower growth, leads generated, or any particular business outcome from content produced. The success of your content depends on many factors outside of our control, including how and where it is posted, your audience, and your industry.

PAYMENT STRUCTURE

Filming: A 50% deposit of the filming fee is required upfront to confirm and reserve your shoot date. The remaining 50% of the filming fee is due on the day of your shoot, before filming begins. Once your shoot day arrives and filming takes place, the filming fee is considered paid in full.

Editing: Editing is billed separately from filming. Your editing fee is due upon your approval of the final draft. If we do not receive a response within 7 days of delivering your final draft, the work will be considered approved and the editing fee will become due immediately.

Monthly Service Plans: Monthly plans are billed in two parts. 50% is due at the start of each billing cycle, and the remaining 50% is due at the end of the billing cycle. Monthly plans require a minimum commitment of three consecutive billing cycles.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT POLICY

Deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit reserves your shoot date and takes that time off our availability for other clients. Once your deposit is received, it will not be returned for any reason, regardless of how much notice is given. No additional cancellation fees will be charged beyond the forfeited deposit.

Cancellations after the shoot: If you cancel or choose not to proceed after your shoot has already taken place, the full filming fee is still due. Since the shoot occurred, the filming service has been fully rendered.

Editing fees, if you choose not to proceed with editing after a shoot, no editing fee will be charged since no editing work has been started. However, once editing has begun based on your confirmed direction, the editing fee becomes due regardless of whether you choose to move forward with the final product.

Monthly service plans: Payments made toward a monthly service plan are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel before completing your three-month commitment, the remaining balance for the full term becomes due immediately. After the initial three-month commitment, either party may cancel with written notice before the next billing cycle begins. No refunds will be issued for a billing cycle that has already started.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

You may reschedule your shoot once at no charge, provided you give us at least 48 hours notice. A second reschedule, regardless of notice given, will incur a $150 rescheduling fee which must be paid before a new date is confirmed.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled shoot, your deposit is forfeited and no rescheduling will be offered without a new deposit.

WEATHER POLICY

We work with contractors and trade businesses, and we understand that outdoor shoots depend on the weather. If conditions make filming impossible, either party may request to postpone with no penalty, provided we are notified no later than 2 hours before the scheduled start time.

Weather postponements do not count against your one free reschedule. The rescheduled shoot must take place within 14 calendar days of the original date. If we cannot accommodate that window due to scheduling, your deposit will be credited toward a future booking.

REVISION POLICY

Every project includes one round of revisions. Revision requests must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving your draft, in one consolidated list. Requests submitted after 48 hours or in multiple separate submissions may be treated as a new revision round.

Additional revision rounds are available at $100 per round, paid before work begins.

Dissatisfaction based solely on personal stylistic preference — outside of the agreed creative direction — does not constitute grounds for a refund or free additional revisions.

LATE PAYMENTS

Invoices unpaid after 7 days of becoming due will incur a flat $75 late fee. If payment remains outstanding after 30 days, a 1.5% monthly finance charge will be applied to the outstanding balance. Yanza Media reserves the right to suspend services, withhold deliverables, and revoke usage rights on any content associated with an unpaid account.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you have a concern or dispute regarding any service, deliverable, or charge, we ask that you contact us directly in writing — by email at yanzamedia@gmail.com or via our website — before taking any other action.

We are committed to resolving issues fairly and in good faith. Initiating a chargeback or public dispute before attempting direct resolution is a violation of our terms and may result in immediate revocation of your usage rights and pursuit of outstanding balances.

EQUIPMENT & LIABILITY

Yanza Media will not perform any action that violates local, state, or federal laws, including illegal drone operations or unsafe filming conditions. Clients are responsible for providing a safe working environment. If equipment is damaged due to client negligence or unsafe conditions on site, the client may be held responsible for repair or replacement costs.

In the rare event that footage is lost due to equipment malfunction or technical failure on our end, Yanza Media's liability is limited to a full refund of payments made for the affected session. This is the maximum compensation available under any circumstance.

EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES & EMERGENCIES

We understand that life is unpredictable.

In the event that either party — you or Yanza Media — cannot make it to a scheduled shoot due to a genuine emergency such as a serious illness, hospitalization, family emergency, car accident, or other major unforeseen event, the following applies:

The affected party must notify the other as soon as reasonably possible via phone or email. In these situations, no cancellation fees will be charged and your deposit will be credited toward a rescheduled shoot, which must be arranged within 30 calendar days of the original shoot date.

Yanza Media will always handle genuine emergencies with compassion and flexibility. We ask for the same in return. These situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and both parties agree to work together in good faith to find a fair solution.

This provision applies to documented, genuine emergencies only and is separate from standard cancellations and rescheduling requests.

POLICY UPDATES

Yanza Media reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version of this policy will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

GOVERNING LAW

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from services provided by Yanza Media shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of New York.
